These curious abjurations continue to perplex us. They show no change in essence, yet their morphology is distinct from others of it's species. It is known Ascended can corrupt the material plane, but to alter organic material without altering it’s inheritable essence is profound. Arcanists have managed such reality bending powers with the Ancient Druidic Polymorph spell, and this trait can be seen in Draconic species to change their Organic form without altering their essence. Bending reality in such manners must be taxing on the weave and should be avoided on a grand scale, unless one risks the structural integrity of the Weave itself. Regardless of origin, Astral Umbral or Elemental, these alterations will continued to be studied by other departments unless a link to an inheritable essence is found.
